John Skalicky is a Los Angeles native. He started his first photography class at age 16 at Pasadena City College. He has since studied at Art Center, Otis Parsons, UCLA and attended many workshops. He has shot a variety of commercial work for a wide range of clients. He enjoys commercial work and works very hard to meet the needs of his clients. He finds photography continually exciting because it always presents new challenges especially when shooting people.  A photo session is never “just a headshot” – there is always the effort to capture the magic of each person.  He currently lives in an historic area of Los Angeles called Country Club Park with his two German Shepherds.
